He only broke the tv 'cause she said, 'I want to read more'

I love books. I mainly buy second hand copies. I also love finding things amongst the pages. Here are three photos and a sticker I have found in second hand books that were possibly used as bookmarks.

I love this photo. The original is very small. It's a complete mystery. I love the radio and the dishevelled sofa. It was tucked in the pages of a 1921 school workbook from a Boy's grammar school in Oldham.

Two eerie polaroids left in between page 56/57 of Brave New World.

Original Pink Floyd sticker left in the back of Dance Dance Dance.

Peach, Plum, Pear.

We have a few fruit trees in the garden, mainly apple, cherry and plum. This year the smallest and oddest looking apple tree has not stopped producing apples. Far too many for two people. We now have a whole Winter's supply of chutney that the Boy made yesterday. The smell of spice and apples will linger for days.

Gunpowder Treason and Plot

Autumn is upon us.

Possibly my favourite time of year. Almost every day I ride my bicycle through a forest woodland and although I am constantly pounded by falling acorns and leaves, the colours that flash past as I ride are just stunning.

...... and as I ride, this song is nearly always playing in my head:

Drawing Attempt No:2

I adore Deer. Here are some quick section detail sketches I rustled up for a recent exhibition to go along side my Willow Spear Heads.
