I love charity shops. I think that anyone that has lived on the South East coast of England would agree with me that some of the best ones are hiding around the sleepy OAP towns of East Sussex.
Through the years I have found some incredible finds to richly enhance my clothes, camera, book and record collection but lately I have had to cut down on my collecting (hoarding) and simplify everything into a concept for our home for fears of it turning into our own charity/junk shop.
Here are just two of the reasons for my love of La boutique de Charité:
Vintage Bird, Shell and Deer paintings.
Vintage Liberty and Hermes silk scarves from the 20p basket.
